Outdated but friendly desk & cleaning staff. Clean but obnoxious chlorine or bleach type smell when we arrived. So much that I thought we were staying over top a swimming pool. I had to open the windows and it still hung around for a couple days. Very loud hotel- especially if you are booked under a pet friendly room you can hear dogs walking and running around as if they’re in your room. All the doors are so loud when they close waking us up many times in the night. When upstairs flushes their toilet, same thing, so loud it wakes you up.

Complimentary breakfast is good, during the week when there aren’t hockey tournaments in town. The seated breakfast with the beautiful views was wonderful. Great hash browns.

The weekend however we were directed to a dingy low ceiling room down the hallway for our complimentary breakfast- the room with no windows. All the hockey teenagers staying in our building with their parents who felt the breakfast was for them only taking all the space. The food was also terrible this day. Warm juice- yes WARM apple and orange juice. Mushy and oily frozen tater tots. Rubbery pancakes. No bacon, two types of sausages. PAPER PLATES AND FLIMSY WOOD UTENSILS. The restaurant owner or manager also lacks customer service skills. I was actually excited about the included breakfast based on other reviews but this was absolutely terrible- not to mention it’s only from 5:30-8:30.

It’s a real shame, this place has so much potential. Gorgeous views, built in restaurant, lots of parking, decent rates, friendly front desk staff and gym/sauna…. But it has too many areas of opportunity for improvement for me to stay here again.

The complimentary breakfast was phenomenal! || The hotel was a bit older but I was pleasantly surprised with my experience there. The beds were nice and the pillows were great! Everything was clean and well kept. And beautiful views of the mountains !

Was extremely disappointed in this hotel. This hotel is mediocre at best and extremely overpriced for what you receive. The complimentary breakfast was bland and cool and not at all what we were expecting. The reason we booked this hotel was because friends of ours who stayed only two weeks before us raved about their experience yet breakfast but what we received was very different. Overall I was left disappointed and felt ripped off. Definitely should have stayed somewhere else and saved ourselves some money.

Stayed here for 4 nights for my sons wedding. It was an alternate location after the Jasper fire, but the staff, service and food were anything but "alternate"!
The rooms are clean and comfortable, but the service is what really makes the place shine. All staff took a personal interest in doing the absolute best for the event,y no matter what the request.
The food quality was the best I have seen at any event. Home made baking, top grade beef and chicken and outstanding salad and side dishes. Again, all served with care and pride.
Very well done, I would highly recommend this venue for any major event.

Not sure why they think that people like to sleep in bright rooms all night, some curtains would be nice. They have see through white curtains and very bright parking lot lights. The room is as bright as in broad daylight. Definitely will not be staying here again, I even changed my entire travel plans so I end up in a normal hotel.

Older hotel but very clean. Convenient location and parking.

Room was comfortable but dated. Bed and pillows were very good. Bathroom was typical toilet and tub shower inclosure. Shower head was very good with lots of pressure.

Free breakfast was offered. Above average breakfast with about 4 options (no standard buffet). Quality of breakfast was very good. Service starts at 5:30 am.

Would recomment this hotel.

We had a Jasper, AB wedding planned for August 31st.
This obviously did not happen, and I was in a rush to replan a wedding with only a few weeks left.
The Inn and Suites in Jasper were taking us on for our reception, but it ended up being the Grande Cache Inn and Suites that accommodated us.
For a last minute wedding, they were all very understanding and accommodating for us, and went above and beyond to help us out for this.
Thank you very much for your hospitality! We appreciate you more than you know!

We were recently staying here while participating in The Great Canadian Death Race. The lobby has access to fresh, cold, filtered water, which was a huge plus! While we never used the gym, it looked in great condition with new equipment and has a dry sauna. If we weren't already there to walk/run a crazy distance, we likely would have made use of it.

The location is fantastic! Easy access to everything you could need in town. We visited the Grande Cache rec center to go swimming the day after, hit up some restaurants, including the restaurant within the lower level of the hotel. Great food, great service, great staff, and amazing view to enjoy while eating.

The continental breakfast was by far one of the best I've ever had!! ... and I've stayed at my fair share of hotels. The buffet dinner was outstanding! We had a perfectly cooked beef roast with gravy and horse radish, fresh salad, warm bun, hot veggies and pasta. Highly recommend staying here if you're passing through town or looking for that weekend getaway spot.
